This page provides detailed information about how I Ching Realm complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (CPRA), for California residents. This page supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. Categories of Personal Information We Collect
In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information as defined by CCPA §1798.140(v):

2. Personal Information We Disclose
In the preceding 12 months, we have disclosed the following categories of personal information for business purposes:

3. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information
Important: We have never sold, rented, or shared your personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not sell personal information as "sell" is defined under CCPA §1798.140(ad). We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Because we do not sell your personal information, there is no opt-out of sale link required. However, you still have the right to request that we delete your personal information and to know what personal information we have collected.
4. Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA
- CCPA §1798.100(a) — Right to Know Know what personal information is collected You have the right to request that we disclose what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell about you. This includes the categories of personal information, the business purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- CCPA §1798.105(a) — Right to Delete Request deletion of your personal information You have the right to request that we delete any personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (such as completing transactions, detecting security incidents, debugging, or complying with legal obligations).
- CCPA §1798.120(a) — Right to Opt-Out of Sale Opt out of the sale of your personal information We do not sell your personal information, so this right is not applicable. If our practices change, we will provide a clear "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on our homepage.
- CCPA §1798.125(a) — Right to Non-Discrimination Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. This means we will not: deny you goods or services; charge you different prices; provide you a different level or quality of goods or services; or suggest that you will receive a different price or level of service.
- CPRA §1798.121 — Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information Limit the use of sensitive personal information You have the right to limit our use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to perform the services or provide the goods reasonably expected. Oracle questions that may contain sensitive information are processed only to deliver your reading and are not stored.
- CPRA §1798.140(ae) — Right to Correct Correct inaccurate personal information You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
5. How to Exercise Your Rights
You may exercise your CCPA rights by:

5.1 Verification Process
To protect your privacy and security, we will verify your identity before processing your request. For requests made via email, we may ask you to:
- Confirm the email address associated with your use of the Service
- Provide additional information to match our records
We will not require you to create an account with us to submit a request.
5.2 Authorized Agent
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. To do so, you must provide the authorized agent with written permission, and we may verify your identity and the agent's authorization.
5.3 Response Time
We will respond to your request within 45 days of receipt. If we need more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period (up to an additional 45 days). We will deliver our response in writing via the same method you used to submit your request.
6. Financial Incentive Disclosures
We do not offer financial incentives related to the collection, sale, or deletion of personal information.
7. Shine the Light Act (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.83)
Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents have the right to request from businesses with whom they have an established business relationship, a list of personal information disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. As we do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes, there is no information to disclose under this law.
8. California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) — Additional Disclosures
8.1 Purpose of Collection
We collect personal information for the following business or commercial purposes:
- Providing, maintaining, and improving the I Ching oracle Service
- Generating AI-powered deep readings based on your questions
- Processing payments for premium features
- Analyzing usage patterns to improve user experience
- Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Complying with legal obligations
8.2 Retention Period
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including satisfying legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Specific retention periods are detailed in our Privacy Policy, Section 6.
8.3 Data Minimization
In accordance with CPRA's data minimization principle, we only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary and proportionate to achieve the purposes for which it is collected. We do not collect personal information for undisclosed or incompatible purposes.
9. Use of Automated Decision-Making Technology
We use AI technology to generate Deep Readings. This is an automated process, but it is initiated solely by your explicit request and the output is for entertainment and personal reflection only. It does not produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you. You are not required to use the AI Deep Reading feature to use the basic oracle Service.
10. Children's Privacy
Our Service is limited to users age 18 and older. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a minor, we will delete it promptly. Contact privacy@clayis.com.
11. Changes to This Notice
We may update this CCPA Compliance page from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
